Edmund and Joseph, a secretly gay couple, live as fishermen on the coast of Jersey during World War II.  One day they wake up  in a completely new time that is not what they are used to. They find a baby in their room that seems to be their own. Everybody they thought they lost are still alive.

In this utopian future they start to settle in this new life; here they can finally be open about their relationship.  Meanwhile, Edmund is having visions about the past. Are they more than they seem to be?
